Kidco is a seasonal employer, employing more than 250 people during peak seasons. Our work season typically starts in April and runs to the end of November or December. In this industry our work season is dependant on the weather. The majority of our projects are in Calgary and the outlying areas.

Survey/Geomatics Technologist
Kidco Construction is currently seeking a Survey/Geomatics Technologist. The ideal candidate will have completed a diploma in Geomatics or Civil Engineering. Experience in Municipal Land Development and Legal Survey would be an asset.
- 2D/3D analysis and modeling
- Participate in field surveys and operation of GPS and conventional land surveying , data processing and analysis
- Calculation, analysis and computation of measurements obtained during field surveys
- Perform layout work proficiently and accurately
- Post secondary education such as a diploma in Geomatics or Civil Engineering
- Strong computer background including Civil 3D & Land Development Desktop
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
